Keep your children safe online

Internet safety workshops for parents, schools, businesses & charities

How are you feeling about tech?

Do you worry about your children’s screen time?
Are you concerned about what they might come across online?
Would you love to set up proper internet safety measures but aren’t sure where to begin?

I can help. I’m Jessica Chalmers, an online child safety expert and a mum to a tech-loving teen and tween.

I’ve been in your shoes—feeling uncertain and overwhelmed by technology. But after training with some of the world’s leading child safety experts, I’ve gained the knowledge and tools to help you feel confident and in control.

Whether it’s managing screen time, discussing sensitive topics like online pornography, or simply creating a safer digital environment for your children, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I’m also passionate about digital literacy for children, which is why I run workshops in schools to educate students on how to spot red flags online. My goal is to empower children with the knowledge they need to make safe, positive choices in the digital world.

Together, we can ensure your children have a safer, more confident online experience.

WORKSHOPS

I offer a range of workshops for both parents and students, designed to provide valuable insights and practical guidance on online safety.

For parents, I run four key workshops:
– Introduction to Child Safety Online
– Social Media: What Parents Need to Know
– Gaming: What Parents Need to Know
– Porn: What Parents Need to Know

These workshops are available both in-person and via Zoom. If you can’t attend live, I also offer pre-recorded sessions that you can instantly download and watch at your convenience.

For schools, I tailor my pupil workshops to address the specific challenges a school may be facing, or I can recommend proven sessions based on the year group. Each workshop is designed to engage and empower students with the knowledge they need to stay safe online.

Whether you’re a parent or a school, I’m here to provide the support and information you need in a way that suits your schedule and needs.

Parent Workshops

I’m passionate about the importance of digital literacy, which is why I love visiting schools to talk to students about staying safe online. My workshops are customisable to address any specific challenges a school may be facing, or I can recommend proven sessions tailored to different year groups. With engaging, interactive activities, I make sure the topic comes to life and stays memorable for students.

“Jess Chalmers presented an online safety workshop to our Yr9s this summer. Jess’s topic material was bang up todate, and she presented it with an infectious energy that held the student’s interest and kept them engaged. Her own online presence added to her credibility with that age group, and we would definitely recommend her workshops to other schools looking to increase their online safety awareness.”

- Clayesmore School

“Attending one of Jess’s workshops should be a pre-requisite of becoming a parent! She has done all the leg work to help you feel knowledgeable about the pitfalls of letting your child venture into the online world and gives you the confidence that you can help them to do it in a safe and supported way.”

- Claire Lovell, Horsham

“ Jess presented a brilliant session covering a summary of the most needed knowledge and advice around screen time, ‘Netiquette’, grooming, parental controls and cyber bullying. This has been an invaluable session that we pre recorded to ensure we can go back to the advice again when needed. Jess was great to work with, she was informed, flexible and shared the knowledge in a digestible way.
